TAFA Student Summit is a one-of-a-kind opportunity for middle- high school and college students to become an effective voice for animals! Learn new strategies to take your advocacy to the next level and converge with like-minded people from around the country. This day-long conference will take place Sunday, July 17, with the option to attend Lobby Day the next day, at the Wardman Marriott in DC.

For as little as $25 student attendees have the opportunity to engage with HSUS campaigns staff and experts, learn how to effectively lobby, create a successful campaign, and lead grassroots activism. Students will have access to the exhibit hall to interact with a wide range of animal organizations. Free giveaways, campaign materials, and a veg lunch will also be provided.

This year members of The HSUS Student Advisory Board will be attending and leading sessions to share their activism in their schools and communities. Attendees will have opportunities to brainstorm ideas and get valuable feedback from peers and professionals.

To get a feel for what it’s like, read about last year’s conference and check out the agenda, then join the fun and register today! For questions, email Janice Krish at jkrish@humanesociety.org.
